About
G3A FC provides training and playing opportuities for children and young adults between the ages of 4-19. At G3A FC we are passionate on the development of grassroots football players in our area. We have a team of coaches that have all inherited our philosophy on the development of grassroots football. Players are encouraged to continue with their grassroots teams on Sunday's and view G3A FC as additional training and games. Games are played on Saturday morning's in the YEL league ad Sunday mornings in the Kickstart and SDJSL. We are always looking to form links with local grassroots teams to support their development of players and teams with us at G3A.
Being a G3A FC player gives you access to your team training and games as well as our Monday & Friday Academy sessions all included in the subs price!
Success Stories
In just our first season (2019/2020) our teams managed to exceed expectations by winning a few trophies along the way. Our U7s managed to win the cup, our U10s won the winter league and our U8s and U9s were going into cup semi finals/finals. For our first season we think this shows fantastic development in these grassroots players. The development was shown as a number of our grassroots players were scouted by professional clubs:
-U7s 2 Players - Nottingham Forest & Derby
-U8s 6 Players - Doncaster, Nottingham Forest, Sheff Utd, Man City, Leicester
-U9s 3 Players - Lincoln City & Derby
-U10s 2 Players - Derby County & Barnsley
